Wilderness
When wilderness swallowed me
in her verdant web beneath tall trees
that rose above a crashing sea
I became the object of her devotion
and under poplars received her attention
while wrapped in shadows there common
She consumed my essence partly shaded
while I stood there somewhat jaded
absorbing her wild disposition unsatiated
With a quickening pulse drumming in mind
and her loving ways soft and kind
I satisfied desires I'd hope to find
My pleasure peaked as her spell surged
with muffled moans barely heard
that drifted over the ocean surf
So, under Summers sun on shaded hill
wilderness surely fullfilled
my dream as time stood still
Now, I recall in jest
that her name wasn't really wilderness
However, she was definitely the best
