Spring Cleaning
When in the heart of May
drenched in suns' glowing ray
life is refreshed and heartbeats balloon
to envelop us in Springtime bloom
With moments spent at rapid pace
we endure passing time with grace
and behold renewal proclaimed to all
while the Season in freshness calls
We are all wanderers in Seasons given
yearning for happiness on earths' heaven
and when Spring cleans up our way
we crave for it to forever stay
Mellow winds brush new greenery
as our eyes absorb the scenery
random birds showcase their song
while soaring on wings breeze-borne
Purple and white lilacs edge the river
that flows swiftly with roaring water
and new moments cleanly restored
connect our existence to the peaceful shore
From early morning light to setting sun
we now recall our youthful fun
while musing on memories that Spring begets
of our ancestors we should never forget
