Goodorevil
The Summer drone of a honey bee
sustains my awareness and serenity
While the sting of a horse fly
makes me utter painful cries
One is a beneficial pollinator
the other a relentless blood sucker
both have purpose to their lives
whether they reside in manure or hive
Neither are evil nor good
while performing their duties, as they should
So, I placed them together in a jar
watched them from afar
as they mingled at both ends
acting like long lost friends
And with this, enough said
as the wonders of life are never dead
