Gracia Plena
She chewed up life then spit it out
'Twas gracefully normal coming from her mouth
she was the source of pleasures
gracing nature with her personal favors
Bearing life with gracious pain
finding pleasure in soft falling rain
she found certain joy in graceful denial
but found love lasting and final
Silently she flirted with politeness
tasting gracious moments and amorous tests
Then, abruptly came a point
when her voice was gracefully faint
Her powerful feelings not shouted loud
as if coming from on high clouds
and somewhere her childhood pains
with melancholy graciously remain
Having left their sting in heart
and in dreams filled with thankful parts
'Tis now with graceful solitude
embraced by tender gratitude
That hides chewed up life, tasted and swallowed
with fullness of grace in prayers hallowed
that contrary to popular notions
have steeped her life in joyful contrition
